Behind the Counter:
Beautycounter Consultant Dashboard Redesign

Behind the Counter is the mobile and web platform used by Beautycounter’s 30,000+ consultants to manage their business, monitor performance, send/receive communication and download marketing resources.

The goal was to redesign the existing, outdated back office platform, which consisted of desktop web and mobile platforms to be: Title-Driven & Responsive, Simple & Streamlined, Action-Oriented & Prescriptive.

The Desktop Web Experience features content relevant to each Consultant’s lifecycle stage

Nudges Consultants to actions to take to improve performance through positive reinforcement

High level data view of qualifying volume progress towards goals & milestones

Featured Content
Downloadable assets to share the latest trending products with Customers

In the Consultant Account Section, they can complete surveys, set up and manage payment profiles and contact information.

Highlights:

  • Linear view of progression during account set up

  • Easy, one-click navigation into each module to add, edit or modify information

  • Shared UI components with consultant and client detail pages for consistent experience

The Customer Dashboard gives Consultants insights into how their downline organization is performing and quickly notifies them of actions that can be taken to impact their organization.

Highlights:

  • Primary business impact: early, increased productivity and recruitment

  • Top Customers overview allows you to compare your top customers in the past 3 months and year to date

  • A tabbed UI navigation structure simplifies complex data organization into a clear, concise and modern format

The Contact Card allows Consultants to view all of the information about a particular customer. From here, they can contact their customer, take action, and view their order history and favorite products.

Highlights:

  • Modular design is visually clean, with linear, intuitive paths through multi-step transactions

  • The Customer Activity Feed is designed to organize and manage all of the communication a Consultant has with each customer

From the dashboard, Consultants can access this data table with easy-to-use filters to search through their customer base. It also serves as an access point to view contact cards and specific order information.

The My Team Dashboard gives an overview of all team members, providing a great way to celebrate successes and visualize how individuals can directly impact business.

Highlights:

  • Strategize and see how team members are doing. Have they gotten any recent orders? Are they on track to hit their monthly sales goals?

  • A cross-platform solution allows access to all Consultant sales data on mobile or desktop, whichever best suits their lifestyle.

From the Tools section, Consultants can download sales assets created by Beautycounter HQ to help boost their sales and stay on trend.

Highlights:

  • Simple sharing abilities including email, text and social media

  • The ability to download assets directly or bookmark them for later leads to increased efficiency

  • Filterable results by categories such as incentives, new & notable, and marketing promotions
